The Ride in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada happened last Saturday, starting off in Airdrie and finishing in Drumheller. Volunteer Chair of the event, Bob Lang says thanks to an impressive turnout, they managed to raise a fair amount to help fight the disease.

Lang says although there's no cure or complete control for CF, people with the disease are living a higher quality of life than in the past owing to funding, better drugs, techniques and understanding, and getting an earlier start with treatments. The Ride For Cystic Fibrosis was initially called The Ride for the Breath of Life.
