A number of Airdrie high school basketball teams will take the court one final time in 2017 tonight (December 19) before an extended holiday break.

The Bert Church Chargers will have home court advantage against the Bow Valley Bobcats. Both the senior and junior girls Chargers teams currently sit at a 0-2 record this season and will look for their first wins against the Bobcats. The JV Bobcats have won their only game of the season so far, while the senior Bobcats are also winless after losing their sole game.

The Croxford Cavaliers will look to brave the weather and head to Chestermere to face the Lakers. The junior and senior Cavs both sit at first place in Rocky View, holding a 2-0 record each. Chestermere's senior team is also undefeated after winning their only game of the season so far, while the junior Lakers are hungry for their first win after losing their only appearance.

Rocky View's junior games will get underway at 6:00pm, with the senior matchups following at 7:45.

While Rocky View's boys teams take the courts tomorrow (December 20), over in the Calgary Senior High School Athletic Association the St. Martin de Porres Kodiaks senior boys team will close out the season with a third road game. Currently sitting 0-2 this season, the Kodiaks will look for their first win against Robert Thirsk in Calgary at 5:30pm.
