Night one of the Canadian Finals Rodeo wrapped up on November 9th and the local cowboys are loving it.

Airdrie's Jake Vold who drew the horse Garden Party in his first round of the Bareback Competition, scored an impressive 84.5.

Vold who returned from a nearly two month hiatus is feeling good for the rest of the week in the CFR.

On the other side of the grounds, Cochrane's Tanner Milan is leading the pack in the Steer Wrestling after notching 3.6 seconds in his first round.

Both Cowboys will look to improve on their scores in night two, on November 10th in Edmonton.
