Community Links Annual 'Roll To The Hole' is coming up in about 3 weeks.

Airdrie's Community Links invites you to be part of its Annual 2011 'Roll to the Hole', Friday, September 23 in Cooper's Crossing. Laurie Jacob-Toews with the organization says the event involves a Burnco cement truck, a makeshift golf course...and a lot of golf balls....

If you want a chance to win a substantial cash prize for only a 5-dollar investment, you better act quickly.  You buy a golf ball that becomes one of 2000 released from a cement truck onto a green. If your ball lands closest to the hole, you win. Closest to the hole first prize is $2500, second is worth $1000 and if you're third closest you'll take home $500.

Jacob-Toews says the community always steps up to help as it's all for a good cause. Tickets are just $5 each and only 2000 are available. Half are sold already! Get yours at Airdrie's Community Links on Main Street or call (403) 945.3900. All proceeds will go to the many programs they support. You must be over 18.

'Roll To The Hole' happens Sept. 23, 6 pm, at 1161 Coopers Drive SW. For more information, visit www.nrvcl.ab.ca/events
