An Airdrie Goaltender and his team had a tough weekend in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League Final,

Kurtis Chapman and the Portage Terriers dropped the first two games of their series to the Opaskwayak Cree Nation (OCN) Blizzard.

Champan was in net for most of Game 1 on April 8th, in an 8-3 loss. Chapman made 19 saves before being pulled in favour of Brock Aiken.

The Terriers looked to redeem themselves in Game 2 on April 9th, with Chapman back between the pipes.

Unfortunately, The Blizzard's momentum continued from Game 1, as the team shutout the Terriers 6-0 with Chapman making 27 saves after relieving Brock Aiken in the first period.

Thankfully, both teams will have time to rest as Game 3 goes Wednesday night (April 12th) in Portage.
