On June 28, Airdrie Rural RCMP recovered stolen property estimated at over $180,000 from a rural property near Delacour.
Cst. Dan Martin said they were tipped off by a member of the public.
"Basically, a concerned citizen reported to police that they had observed some property on a rural property in Delacour that they believed to be stolen."
When police investigated, they found two stolen travel trailers, a stolen Toyota truck and a stolen enclosed construction utility trailer.
"RCMP obviously attended to the area and were able to check license plates and VINs and were able to determine that two trailers and a vehicle on the property were stolen out of the Calgary area."
Police now have the suspect in custody, and he's facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime.
"There's a 38 year old male of the Delacour area that's been arrested, and charges are pending at this time."
