Members of the Airdrie Integrated Traffic Unit, the Medical Examiners Office and the Calgary Collision Reconstruction Unit continue to investigate the single-vehicle semi rollover that occurred Tuesday, January 15, north of Airdrie on Highway 2.

Officials believe the driver may have died from a pre-existing health problem and not of the injuries he suffered in the crash. Corporal Darrin Turnbull of the city detachment explains.

The driver, who died at the scene, has been identified as 52 year-old Drago Slipac of Edmonton. Alcohol and speed were not factors in this collision.
