An earlier collision in which a semi-trailer was jack-knifed north of Crossfield has been cleared.
Motorists are asked to use caution on the highway as local forecasts are predicting two to four centimetres of snow. With the strong winds, blowing snow may affect visibility on the roads.
The QEII heading Southbound towards Calgary City limits is reported to have shoulder ice and snow build-up, with icy sections. North of Airdrie on the QEII, conditions appear better, with highways reported to be clear.
