With light snow falling in Airdrie and the surrounding areas, along with an increased volume of traffic due to continued Black Friday shopping deals, motorists are asked to exercise caution on the roads on Saturday.
Though no collisions have been reported on Saturday afternoon on the QEII or in Airdrie, motorists have reported that traffic is heavier and slow-going North and Southbound on the QEII near the CrossIron Mills shopping mall.
Although flurries have been reported, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has not forecast snowfall for the evening.
