Airdrie's Peewee Football team had a tough go in their first game of the 2017 season.
The Airdrie Storm lost 48-0 to the Bulldogs at Shouldice Park in Calgary.
Despite the shutout, the game was a good experience for the 15 new players who joined the team this year.
"The shock and surprise was over by half time and we started to see a glimpse of the teams we've been coaching all year," said Head Coach Nolan Rohl.
The Storm will be practicing hard and hoping for a different result in their next game on September 9th against the Eagles.
