Yesterday (October 31), was our annual Halloweenie Roast at the Cooperstown Promenade and you Airdronians impressed us once again.

Around 400 families dressed up in their Halloween costumes stopped by and grabbed a free hot dog, some chips, a pop, and a donut before they carried on with their trick-or-treating.

Our ghostly gathering wouldn't be possible without our sponsors! A heartfelt thank you to Shilo Storey with Remax First, Amandamazing Makeup Art, Maverick's Donuts, Real Canadian Superstore, Kumon, Party City, and Timeless Occasions for making this Halloween event a truly spooktacular experience. Thanks to everybody who supported the Airdrie Food Bank by also making a donation.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who came out to celebrate with us at our Annual Halloweenie Roast this year. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and festive spirit truly made the event a huge success. We were overwhelmed by the incredible response from the community, and we're proud to share that the donations made to the food bank will go a long way in supporting those in need within our community.

For us, the Halloweenie Roast is more than just a fun-filled gathering; it's our way of giving back to the wonderful community that we call home. Events like these offer a unique opportunity to meet and connect with our fellow Airdrie residents, forging new friendships and strengthening the bonds that make our community so special. It's heartwarming to see how coming together in the spirit of celebration can further solidify Airdrie as the close-knit and vibrant community it is.

We would love to see your pictures and hear you feedback from the event as well. You can email news@discoverairdrie.com or text 403-212-1061.
