It's rodeo season across Alberta, and with COVID-19 restrictions almost non-existent throughout the province, the Crossfield Pro Rodeo is excited for a 'basically normal' weekend!

For the past couple of years, while the pandemic hit the pause button on nearly every social event, the Crossfield Rodeo Grounds has gone through a bit of a facelift. Visitors will notice some parts of the grounds have been painted, some new signage has been put in, and a new ticket booth at the front entrance.

The entertainment stage will be filled with various acts throughout both evenings including The Scarecrows on Friday and Julian Austin on Saturday. As well as the musical entertainment there is a dance included in the cost of admission.

Speaking of admission, tickets to the Crossfield Pro Rodeo are $15 at the gate.

Events at the Crossfield Pro Rodeo include bareback, bull riding, junior roping, ladies roping, and barrel racing. There are also some kid's events to watch too like pony racing and the famous mutton busting.

There will also be plenty of food and bevvies to be had!

The Crossfield Pro Rodeo is on Friday, June 10 as well as Saturday, June 11 with the parade on Saturday morning starting at 11 am.
