Rylan Plante-Crough scored the winner with just over a minute to play in the third period to lift the Airdrie Thunder to a 5 - 4 victory over the Blackfalds Wranglers and a two games to one lead in the Northern Division semifinal of the Heritage Junior Hockey League. 

Clay Murray was the offensive star for the Thunder, scoring two goals and adding two assists for a four-point game.

Benjamin Orde and Dante Raposo scored the other Airdrie goals.  The Thunder have now won two straight after losing the series opener.

The two teams meet for game four tomorrow night at 7:30 pm in Blackfalds.

The season ended yesterday for the Cochrane Generals when they lost a heartbreaking 1 - 0 game in overtime to the Okotoks Bisons in Cochrane.  The Bisons won the series three games to none and will now await the winner of the High River - Coaldale series which the Flyers lead two games to one.  

The only game scheduled tonight is at the Didsbury Recreation Complex where the Mountainview Colts will be out to draw even in the series when they host the Red Deer Vipers.

Red Deer leads 1 - 0.  Tonight's contest starts at 8:00 pm.
