Things started out just fine for the Airdrie Thunder in their Heritage Junior Hockey League game against the Mountainview Colts last night (October 25).
Kristopher LeClair netted a goal five minutes into the first period to give Airdrie a 1 - 0 lead. Things went downhill after that.
The Colts scored five unanswered goals to win going away, 5 - 1.
Spencer Dowd had a three point night for the Colts, scoring two and assisting on another.
Airdrie still leads the Northern Division of the HJHL with 18 points on a record of 8 - 2 and 2. Mountainview holds down fourth spot at 6 - 3 and 1.
After playing three games last weekend the Thunder only see action once during the final weekend of October. Tomorrow night they're in High River for a game against the Flyers.
