The preseason is winding down for the Airdrie Thunder, which means the team has some big decisions on roster spots on the way.

Tuesday night, they walked away from the Village Square Leisure Center in Calgary with a 12-1 win against the Calgary Jr B Canucks. Friday night they host the Red Deer Vipers at the Ron Ebbesen Arena in their second to last pre-season game, and Sunday they head to Cochrane to take on the Generals.

There's not much time in between that final pre-season game for GM Frank McEvoy and his club to make the final cuts.

The regular season starts next Friday, as the Thunder host the Three Hills Thrashers. Make sure you check out the schedule at airdriethunder.ca for more details.
