The Airdrie Xtreme did something they're not used to yesterday (January 6) in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League.  They lost a game.

The Xtreme lost for only the second time this season, falling 3 - 2 at the hands of the Calgary Bisons at the Ron Ebbesen Arena.

Airdrie now has a record of 16 wins, two losses and five ties and still holds down first place in the league's Ram South Division, five points ahead of Lethbridge.

Ethan Tinevez and Tristan Zandee scored goals for the Xtreme with both coming in the second period.

Today Airdrie travels to Calgary to play the Flames at 12:15 pm at the Max Bell Centre.
