The Olds College Broncos Women's Basketball team are celebrating a national title today (March 17) and they were helped to it by a coach from Airdrie.

Courtney Harrison is an assistant with the Broncos who yesterday defeated the Dynamiques de Ste. Foy from Quebec 74 - 69 in the championship game to win the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association title.

The Broncos went through the tourney unbeaten with wins over the VIU Mariners 61 - 37 before squeezing past the Dawson Blues 71 - 70.  The Blues ended up taking the bronze medal.

Everyone at Air 106.1 and Discover Airdrie is very proud today.  Harrison is employed as a Sales Consultant with Air 106.1 and we are taking credit for teaching her everything she knows.
