The Airdrie Thunder have done it again, with a win on the road against the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

The dominant, first-placed Thunder travelled to Strathmore to give the Kings a 4-2 loss and earned their 24th win of the season. The Thunder have been playing extremely well, with only two losses in 26 games played.

The Thunder have proved time and time again that they can win on the road and at home. They've only been stopped once, and it doesn't look like they will be stopped again anytime soon. However, their only two losses came at the hands of the two biggest threats in the Heritage Junior Hockey League.

The Coaldale Copperheads, leading team in the Southern Division, defeated the Thunder on their own ice in the Rob Ebbeson Areana 4-2. The Copperheads are only six points behind the Thunder.

The other loss came at the hands of the Red Deer Vipers, the team ranked directly below the Thunder in the Northern Division.

However, on Tuesday, the Thunder will need to put both losses far from their minds when they face the Three Hills Thrashers on the road. Puck drop is at 8:00 p.m.
