To say the Thunder have played well this season is a serious understatement.

In Game 2 of 7 last night, the Airdrie Thunder defeated the Blackfalds Wranglers by a whopping 10-1. This makes it their second win in the best-of-seven North Division semifinal, in the Heritage Junior Hockey League playoffs.

Four goals came from Cooper Page, Jordan McConnell sunk two, and one each was contributed by Brayden Dunn, Brett LaGrandeur, Tyler Petrie and Ben Orde.

"That line was explosive, for sure," said head coach Derek Stamp. "Their feet were moving early and that speed generated some great chances."

Game 3 takes place tonight at home in Airdrie at the Ron Ebbesen Arena. The game goes at 8 p.m.
