The Airdrie Xtreme are off to the next round of the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League playoffs after a quick disposal of the Calgary Southeast Tigers.  

Last night (February 22) in Calgary the Xtreme blanked the Tigers 6 - 0 behind the goaltending of Freddie Halyk to take the best of three in two straight.

Ty Mueller led the way offensively with a pair of goals and one assist.  

Jaren Brinson, Tristan Zandee, Craig Armstrong and Ethan Tinevez added the other Airdrie goals.

The Xtreme now face the Lethbridge Golden Hawks in a best of three series in the next round.  No dates have yet been announced.
