The Calgary Flames met rivals the Edmonton Oilers yesterday in a fiery game that left the Oilers burnt.
The Oilers had the lead early in the first and second period, but thanks to a outstanding comeback from the on fire Flames team, were met with a fury of four unanswered goals to bring the final score of 4-2.

The Oilers appeared strong in the first, with former Flame player Alex Chiasson scoring short-handed.

Near the end of the first, it looked like the Oilers would score again on a two-on-one fast break, but backup goaltender David Rittich shut the door for the Flames.

Later in the second, during a four-on-four, Oilers captian Conner McDavid took the chance to bury another one in the Flame net, bringing the lead to two.

It was then the Flames started their comeback with Derek Ryan putting up the first Flames goal on a power play. Then, Sean Monohan scored in the third to tie the game.

However, it was Elias Lindholm scoring twice in the third who sealed the game for the Flames.

The win puts the Flames in second, just two points behind the San Jose Sharks in the Pacific Division while the Oilers trail in fifth.
