The Airdrie CFR Bisons are off to a pretty impressive start this season in the Alberta Midget Hockey League.

Yesterday (October 6) the Bisons travelled to the Max Bell Arena in Calgary for a game with the Calgary Northstars and came away with a 6 - 4 victory to improve their season record to 3 and 0.

Ty Mueller and Tristan Zandee scored two goals each and Mueller chipped in with an assist.

Caleb Wilms had a goal and an assist for the Bisons while Jackson Wade scored the other goal.  Colton Koran had a pair of assists.

Today the Bisons will try to extend their winning streak to four consecutive games when they face the St. Albert Raiders at home in the Ron Ebbesen Arena.

The opening faceoff is set for 4:15 pm.
