The Calgary Diamondbacks put up two converted touchdowns last night (June 7).

The only thing was, the Diamondbacks were playing a baseball game, with the Airdrie Brewers being the opposition.

The D'Backs trounced the Brewers 14 - 0 in Foothills Major Baseball Association play last night.  Airdrie's offense fell silent, only managing one hit in the game compared to 15 for Calgary.

Regan McCaffrey struck out six Diamondback batters in the three innings he worked on the mound for the Brewers.

The loss drops Airdrie's record to 0 and 9.  The Diamondbacks improved to 10 and 3.

The Brewers square off in a Sunday afternoon doubleheader against the Calgary Cardinals.  The first game gets underway at 3:00 pm at the FMBA field in Calgary.
