The final four has been set to race for $50,000 cash, a $30,000 horse trailer and the title of Century Downs Winner's Zone champion today at the World Professional Chuckwagon Association finals at Century Downs Racetrack outside Balzac.  

Ross Knight, Kurt Bensmiller, Jordie Fike and Luke Tournier will race today in the dash for cash after finishing in the top four of the 12 wagons that were up for the championship.  

Knight from St. Walburg, Saskatchewan finished in first place with 45 points, one more than Bensmiller.  Tournier finished in a three-way tie for the fourth and final spot but got the final position based on having a better four-day aggregate time.

Two of the three titles being handed out this weekend have already been presented.  Kurt Bensmiller from Dewberry, Alberta is the World Champion for the third straight year and the fourth time in the past five years.  He finished ahead of Vern Nolin who had led the standings for most of the year.

Chad Harden of Mulhurst Bay, Alberta took home the Aggregate championship with a total four day time of 5:34.85.  

Gary Gorst had the fastest time on night four with a run of 1:23.28.

The final day of the championships gets underway this afternoon at 2:00 pm at Century Downs Racetrack.
