One more win and the Airdrie Mohawks are once again the Alberta Senior "C" Lacrosse Champions.

The 'Hawks moved to within one game of the provincial title last night (July 28) when they swamped the Edmonton Warriors 12 - 3 in game one of the best of three series.

Game two is set for 3:30 pm this afternoon at Calgary's Stu Peppard Arena.  A win by the Mohawks gives them the championship, after which they'll get ready for another run at the Western Canadian Championships in Port Coquitlam, B.C.

Should Edmonton come back with a win in the second game, the deciding contest will go immediately following game two this afternoon.
