Their final game on home ice for the Alberta "AAA" Midget Hockey League season wasn't all the Airdrie CFR Bisons had hoped it would be.

The Bisons squared off against the Leduc Oil Kings yesterday (February 10) in the Ron Ebbesen Arena.  The Oil Kings blanked the Bisons by a 5 - 0 score.

The Bisons play a pair of road games to finish off their season next weekend when they travel to Okotoks on Saturday and then are in Calgary on Sunday to face the Buffaloes.

Airdrie has a record of 9 - 20 and 4 and are in last place in the league's Chrysler Division.

Before yesterday's game, the Bisons held a moment of silence for 12-year-old Trai Schlichter, the Airdrie boy who tragically passed away following a carbon monoxide incident one week ago.
