The Airdrie Irish pulled out all the stops to win their final regular season home game yesterday.

The Irish stopped a last-second comeback attempt from the Lloydminster Vandals to take the win 21-14.

Alex Saretzky had two touchdowns in the game including a punt return TD in the second quarter.

Braxton Hyland scored the winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter after the Irish blocked a field goal attempt from Lloydminster.

The game was a tight defensive match with both teams exchanging interceptions and forced fumbles.

With the regular season wrapping up this weekend, the Irish will wait to see if they secured the wildcard spot in the AFL Playoffs.
