The Airdrie Irish have fallen out of the ranks of the undefeated this season in the Alberta Football League.

And, during yesterday's (June 9) game against the Central Alberta Buccaneers, they fell hard.

The Irish were pummeled 48 - 7 by the Buccaneers who put on a good show for their fans during their home opener in Red Deer.

Airdrie's record drops to 2 and 1 while the Buccaneers picked up their first win of the year against one loss.

The Irish will try to rebound next Saturday, June 16th when they're on the road again for a game against the Stars in St. Albert.
