Airdrie’s Elite Women’s team bowed out of the second round of the playoffs last weekend against the Calgary Fire-Red.

In Game One on Saturday (March 17th), Emma Dixon would score the only goal for Airdrie Elite Female Lightning as the Fire took that game 4-1.

Calgary would follow that up with another victory in Game Two on Sunday, this time the score was 3-1.

Madison Black scored the lone goal for Airdrie in that game.

The good news is that the Lightning’s season isn’t done as the team’s season record qualifies them for the Provincials Championships.

Those run from March 29th to April 1st in Calgary.
