Three local players were on the ice for game three of their respective series in the Western Hockey League last night (April 10th).

Although they were held scoreless in their games, two players and their teams came away with close victories.

Airdrie Barrett Sheen and the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Swift Current Broncos 4-3 to take a two games to one lead in their series.

Cochrane’s Connor Bouchard and the Tri-Cities Americans continued their unbeaten run in the playoffs with a 5-4 win over the Victoria Royals. They now lead that series three games to none.

Finally, Balzac’s Zachary Cox and the Lethbridge Hurricanes fell to the Brandon Wheat Kings 5-4. The Hurricanes still lead that series two games to none.

Game four for all three players and their teams goes tonight.
