The Nose Creek Swim Association had some big winners from their Masters' Swimmers at the Provincial Championships in Edmonton.

All six female swimmers medaled in the two-day event with four of them claiming the gold medal in their respective swims.

President of the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce, Linda Bruce was one of those champions, claiming gold in the 50 and 200 metres breaststroke. Bruce also finished second in the 100-metre breaststroke for her age group.

Susan Benoit was vice champ in four different events and also claimed a bronze in the 50-metre butterfly on day 2 of the meet.

Tina Prescott and Astrid Eckstein were also successful on the weekend, winning a bronze in the 50-metre backstroke in their category.

Finally, Carolynn Martin and Cheryl Van Dewark also picked up medals with Martin winning silver in the 50-metre backstroke and the 100-metre breaststroke and Van Dewark placing second in her age group in that same event.

The ladies now turn their attention to the Masters Nationals which take place this May in Calgary.
