The honours just keep piling up for two members of the Airdrie Thunder.

After being named the first two Players of the Week for the 2018-2019 season by the Heritage Junior Hockey League, Jordan McConnell, and Rylan Plante-Crough have been selected the first two stars in the HJHL's Three Stars of the Month for September.

The two linemates have been a big part of the Thunder's impressive start to the campaign with a 6 and 0 record.

McConnell was selected the first star of the month for scoring 10 goals and 19 points in just four games during September.  That total included eight points in the first game of the season.

Plante-Crough was named second star during September.  He too recorded 19 points in four games, registering at least three points in all of them with a pair of six-point efforts and two hattricks.

Goaltender Devin Reagan of the Okotoks Bisons rounded out the three stars for the month.
