The Prince Albert Raiders scored a goal in the second period of last night's (April 19) game against the Edmonton Oil Kings.

Before and after it, they left things up to goaltender Ian Scott.  Scott blocked 26 shots, including four coming off the stick of Airdrie's Jake Neighbours, as the Raiders scored a 1 - 0 win in the first game of the Western Hockey League's Eastern Conference Final in Saskatchewan last night.

Neighbours and his Oil Kings teammates will try to figure out a way to beat Scott before the start of tonight's second game in the series that also goes in Prince Albert.  Game three is set for Tuesday night in Edmonton.

In the Western Conference Final last night, the Vancouver Giants dumped the Spokane Chiefs 4 - 1 to take a 1 - 0 lead in the series.  The next game goes tonight in Vancouver.
