The name of the person at the top of the leaderboard changed in five events during the second performance of the Airdrie Pro Rodeo last night (June 29).

Only the first night rides of Dawson Hay of Wildwood, Alberta in saddle bronc and Ty Taypotat of Regina, Saskatchewan in bareback riding managed to hold up as they continue to lead their events.

Every other leader from night one dropped down in the standings.  The bull riding is now led by Edgar Durazo who hails from Montezuma, Sonora, Mexico.  His ride of 87.5 was tops on the night and so far in the show.

Steer wrestling also has a new Canadian leader.  Brendan Laye of Consort had a 3.5 second run in last night's performance.

The other three timed events also saw a lead change.  Roland McFadden who beamed in from Vulcan with his team roping partner from Brooks, Devin Wigemyr had a run of 4.8 seconds to grab the lead in that event.

Tuf Cooper of Decatur, Texas set the standard in tie-down roping with a 7.6 second time.

The barrel racing lead now belongs to Brittney Barnett of Roberts, Montana.

The third performance of the Airdrie Pro Rodeo goes tonight at 7:00 pm.  The junior cowboys take to the infield one hour before that.
