The Raiders fell 18 - 14 at the hands of the Mavericks. The loss by Airdrie drops them into a three-way tie for second place in the league's Bouton Division. The Mavericks are also 2 and 1 and are one of the teams tied with the Raiders.
The other team tied with Airdrie is the Hilltoppers and the two clubs have a showdown planned in two weeks time. Next weekend the Raiders have a bye and will play their next game against the Hilltoppers on Friday, May 3rd at 6:30 pm on Encana Field at Shouldice Athletic Park.
