Cochrane local Dillon Dube of the Calgary Flames missed Wednesday's game against the Boston Bruins in Calgary with a lower-body injury but returned to the lineup to face a loss at the hands of the Nashville Predators Friday with a final score of 5-3.

After missing Wednesday's game, Dube was cleared after confirming that he was completely healthy, Dube returned to try and help his team secure the win in Calgary. However, with only one shot on net, the Flames were outmatched by the Predators, even with a fierce performance by former Predator James Neal and a classic solid game with two assists from captain Mark Giordano. The loss was a disappointing surprise after the Flames shut out the Predators in their last meeting 3-0.

The loss tallies on to the Flame's 4-3 season, placing them firmly in the second spot in the Pacific Division.

The Flame's next game is tonight in New York where they will face the Rangers.
