Its a busy day in the NHL for two local players and one of them gets an early start.

 Airdrie's Ty Rattie and the Edmonton Oilers are in Gothenburg, Sweden to start their season against the New Jersey Devils.  That game gets underway at 11:00 am our time.  Rattie, who had a great preseason, will start on the line with Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, the same pair he ended last season with.

Dillon Dube of Cochrane and the Calgary Flames will be taking on the Vancouver Canucks in game two of their home and home series starting tonight at 8:00 pm at eh Saddledome.

Vancouver won the first encounter 5 - 2 on opening night in the NHL.
