They were in it all the way but couldn't quite pull it out in the end.  

The Airdrie Xtreme travelled to Okotoks yesterday (January 13) to face the Oilers in Alberta Major Bantam Hockey Leauge action.  The Oilers, who hold down second place in the Ram South Division, ended up taking the decision 3 - 2.

Cody Pisarcyck and Cooper Brown got the goals for Airdrie who fall to 7 - 14 and 2, last in that division.

The game was close with the shots on goal coming out identical, 29 apiece.

The next game for the Xtreme is on Sunday, January 20th when they're in Calgary to face the Royals in a 1:15 pm start at the Stu Peppard Arena.

On Saturday the league's All-Star Game took place in Fort Saskatchewan with Noah Edstrom representing the Xtreme.  Edstrom helped the South All-Star squad beat the North 5 - 4.
