Constituency consultations are being held next month to voice your concerns on the real-life impact of the weakened economy.

Blake Richards, Banff-Airdrie MP, will be available to talk about local priorities, government spending, deficits and taxes, and any suggestions the public may have.

In a press release Richards expressed his hope to have the public join him.

"As we approach the release of the federal budget, I hope you will join me for these important discussions."

With the governments decisions on taxes, spending and deficits, Richards wants to talk about how those decisions set a trajectory for the economy.

"The wrong decisions can contribute to business closures, downsizing and continued job loss in our community. That’s why hearing directly from you is so important."

Meetings will be held in both Airdrie and Cochrane.

Cochrane and area: Monday, February 29, 2016, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Cochrane Toyota – Community Room, 8 River Heights Dr.

Airdrie and area: Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Genesis Place – Rotary Room, 800 East Lake Blvd. NE
