If you live in Sharp Hill or the Kings Heights area, then a future open house is for you.

Alberta Transportation is holding the public forum to share ideas from a study for a proposed interchange near those communities.

"This open house will provide the preliminary interchange for a future QE 2, Township Road 264 interchange," says Public Affairs Officer Julie MacIssac.

Construction on the interchange isn't expected for the immediate future, as there's still others issue to look at.

"This work is being done now to ensure that the footprints of the potential interchange is preserved because development is occurring in surrounding areas."

The open house runs on February 8th from 4-8pm in the Genesis Place Rotary Room.
