Two men who were responsible for a string of arson incidents in 2015 were officially sentenced yesterday (March 12th).

Trevor Brown and Nickolas Maschke were sentenced to three years of probation but will not serve time in jail, so long as they follow the conditions set out by the judge.

The pair were responsible for setting fire to dumpsters, construction sites and an abandoned barn in Calgary along with two new townhomes in Airdrie.

Brown and Maschke pleaded guilty last year to nine counts of arson.
