Earlier this week, the Provincial Government announced they're investing millions of dollars for 349 road and transportation projects to start in the next year.

Airdrie has made the list as the government plans to repave 13 kilometres of Highway 2 through the city.

The project is estimated to cost $25.9 Million and there's no timeline as to when it will officially start.

Other highlights coming from the projects announcement include a new interchange from the QE2 to Gaetz Avenue in Red Deer and the construction of a bridge in Peace River, which is underway.
