Airdrie RCMP have just released details in two cases of fraud at TD Canada Trust banking institutions in Airdrie that happened back in January, and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.

The RCMP said that on January 20th, a man entered two separate TD Canada Trust branches in the city.  Using a false name, the man fabricated a story and was able to withdraw approximately $5,000 in cash from each location.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male between 40 and 50 years old, heavier set with greying longer hair but bald on top.  He was unshaven with a grey/brown beard and wore a black trench coat and dark sunglasses.

If you have any information on these occurrences, or can help identify the suspect, you're asked to contact Constable Jean-Olivier Raymond at the Airdrie RCMP detachment at 403 945-7200, or call Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-8477.
