Another Airdrie competitor has finished near the top in one of the 2017 Calgary Stampede Western and Agriculture events.

Carlene Meeks rode her horse Whata Way To Go to a third place finish in the Non-Pro Bridle Class of the 2017 Working Cow Horse Classic.

Meeks received 288.5 total points from two judges for her reined work and her cow work to take home $1,660.  Susan Schaal of Foothills, Alberta took first place on her horse Chic Ruffled Up.  

Meeks and Whata Way To Go also competed in the Open Bridle Class of the Working Cow Horse Classic where they placed 13th.
