Chances are you're still recovering from changing your clocks ahead last weekend.

That is one of the many motives behind a Private Member's Bill to abolish Daylight Saving Time in Alberta.

The bill was officially brought forward this week by NDP MLA Thomas Dang and, if approved, means Alberta would switch to Central Standard Time the entire year, the same as Saskatchewan.

Airdrie's MLA Angela Pitt is also looking for feedback from her riding as to whether the bill should get the stamp of approval.

Any change to Alberta's official time zone won't come into effect until November 2018.
