RCMP are looking for your help to find those responsible for stealing power tool batteries from the Airdrie Home Depot.

"This suspect entered Airdrie's Home Depot on Sunday, October 1, at approximately 5:30pm," said Cst. Dan Martin of the Airdrie RCMP, "In walking around Home Depot, he located a couple boxes of batteries which were housed in a security net."

Police said that the man eventually brought the batteries to the garden centre where he threw them over to another man in a nearby car.

"An employee actually saw the other driver and did actually speak with the driver briefly," said Martin, "they departed in quite a hurry."

RCMP were only able to grab a description of one of the suspects who is a Caucasian man with an athletic build and short hair.

At the time, he was wearing a black long sleeved shirt, dark blue jeans, sunglasses and black shoes.

If you have any information regarding this theft, you're asked to contact the Airdrie RCMP.
