Airdrie RCMP are investigating an extreme case of road rage from Saturday afternoon (Aug 19th)

Cst. Dan Martin with the RCMP says that two men were seen arguing at the intersection of Veterans Blvd and Main Street around 5:30pm. When both drivers exited their vehicles, tensions escalated.

"It was a very short incident. The suspect male was able to deploy some bear spray or mace spray into the eyes of the other driver and then took off."

Right now, RCMP have little information about the suspect but believe he's a Caucasian man standing 6 feet tall and was wearing a ball cap and sunglasses at the time of the incident.

Cst. Martin says they didn't get the suspect's license plate number but that he was driving a white Toyota hatchback car.

RCMP are now looking for any witnesses to the event and you're asked to contact the Airdrie detachment with information.
