Hearty Airdronians braved the frigid temperatures and even colder windchills last night (December 23rd) to celebrate the new enhancements at Nose Creek Regional Park.

The celebrations were hosted by the City of Airdrie with the support of the Airdrie Festival of Lights.

Airdrie residents turned out to enjoy the entertainment, including ice carvers and fire dancers, and a cup of hot chocolate under the new covered shelter.  Other enhancements to the park include a new concession and amphitheatre.

And, despite his hectic schedule, Santa Claus even stopped by to visit with the kids.
