The City of Airdrie is looking to stay on top of the rapid population growth.

As more and more people look to become Airdronians, the City is using it's '10 Year Capital Plan' to make sure all resident's needs are met.

"We really keep our pulse on population growth and where it is happening," said Paul Schulz, CAO, City of Airdrie.

With a new library and more sports facilities in high demand, it will not be easy.

Resident feedback is crucial to the process, allowing City Council to make decisions on all major project funding.

"We look at the demand, the population growth, and you start looking ahead where you might need these facilities, how big they might be, and you plan those things," said Schulz.
