Cochrane RCMP picked up 28 year old Cole Mclean earlier this week. According to Cpl. Curtis Peters, Mclean was wanted on warrants from Okotoks, Vulcan and Turner Valley.

"On January 31st, Tuesday of this week, some officers in Cochrane responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint at a lease site north of the town of Cochrane. When they got there, they found Cole Mclean as well as another female, and they arrested him on his outstanding warrants."

Police also arrested 28 year old Danielle Mckenna. The two were in possession of a stolen vehicle and other stolen property.

Cpl. Peters said this case is a great example of why the public's assistance is often necessary to aid police.

"If you see something, give us a call and say so. This call that we received was just somebody reported something that they thought looked out of place, and luckily it led to the arrest of this individual who had multiple outstanding warrants."

Both suspects have been remanded. Mclean was scheduled to appear in court today (February 2), while Mckenna is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow (February 3).
